LET'S WORK TOGETHER.
At Animated Technologies we offer a wide range of services, from Animations to Interactive Apps.
Navigating the options for your business can seem daunting. Explore our range of services below and consider which might work best for your business needs.
Animation is a dynamic art form that brings images or objects to life through movement, allowing for endless creativity and storytelling possibilities.
Whether it’s for entertainment, education, or marketing, animation captivates audiences, conveying messages and emotions in unique and engaging ways.
2D animation creates movement in a two-dimensional space. It emphasises artistic drawing, unique styles and storytelling.
3D animation involves creating characters and scenes in a three-dimensional space, allowing for more depth and realism.
For content that aims to educate or explain, 2D animation can be straightforward and focused.
Bespoke character creation can communicate people-centred messaging, to promote services for sectors such as government and health.
When the simplification of messaging is paramount, such as communicating complex data systems or promoting your organisation as a whole.
When realism is key for applications such as; architectural visualisations, medical animations, and technical or complex demonstrations.
Product demonstrations i.e. showcasing how a product works, its internal components, or how to assemble it.
Great for explainer videos, stylised visuals, interactive manuals, or virtual prototypes.
There are so many variables when it comes to making an animation. The most important thing is that it tells your story in the right way to the right people. We can guide you through the process, but to get a better idea of costs and timelines, check out our pricing calculator below

An interactive app offers an immersive experience that goes beyond the screen, allowing users to engage with digital environments in a dynamic way.
VR and AR apps easily create a personalised experience that can educate, entertain and enhance reality.
Augmented reality overlays digital information onto the physical world, through the lens of a camera to engage your audience.
Virtual reality applications transport users to virtual worlds using headsets, to completely immerse them in the experience.
Interactive marketing campaigns to create impactful communication that leaves a lasting impression.
Trail apps, enhancing navigation as well as creating engaging and accessible content.
Displaying large technical pieces of equipment that are not easily transported, such as nuclear reactors. Allows consumers to visualise products in their own space
Ability to create experiences to scale, for equipment and processes that are challenging to transport.
Repeatable and replayable scenarios that would be difficult to replicate in real life training.
Full immersion in an environment, perfect for educational experiments, language learning and medical training.
While both VR and AR offer innovative ways to interact with digital content, the choice between them depends on the specific goals of your application. VR’s strength lies in creating immersive, simulated environments for entertainment, training, and design. In contrast, AR excels in enhancing real-world experiences with digital information, making it ideal for education, marketing, and practical applications in everyday life.

How long is a piece of string… There are so many variables when it comes to animation and interactive applications. The cost depends on a range of factors including; content, the length, the quality you are looking to achieve and turn around times, which can either make your project more/less expensive. Take a look at our cost calculator to help you estimate how much your project will cost.
Just as with costs, turn around times vary. For example, a short 2D animation might only take us a couple of weeks, however a large scale VR project like Aberwla, is developed in stages over years. In our initial discussions with you, we will establish the needs of your project and give you a realistic timeline for completion.
Yes we can, if we are animating or creating an experience for a product that you have already designed and developed, you can send us your CAD files to work with. STEP is our favourite file type to work with because it gives us the most control when importing it into our systems. We can discuss the best way to export your files with you, in our initial project meetings.
When you work with us you own the rights to use the final product however you want, however we retain the original animation files. These are available at a cost of 25% of the overall project value. Typically companies don't like working with other peoples source files, due to differences in workflows and techniques used and it can be more difficult to unpick someone else’s work than to start from scratch. However, if you are wanting to have stills of your 3D models or 2D illustrations exported for use in your marketing materials, we can do this for you as part of your project.
We do. We are experienced in creating branded marketing materials for our clients who want to market their experiences and applications, ranging from social media assets to printed leaflets and short showcase videos.
We can also export smaller clips of your animation to use across social media. It is good to know from the start of a project, so we can write this into the animation from the beginning of production, to make sure each clip makes sense when it stands alone.
We have an in depth production and iteration process which helps your ideas come together throughout the project. However if large changes are requested towards the end of the project, we have to charge additional for this. For example if your animation script is signed off, and we then produce the animation based on that, and then the messaging changes - we will need to go back and re-record voiceover along with replanning scenes.
We do recommend using a professional voiceover artist for your video for best results, however sometimes you might have a specific voice in mind to use for your animation or interactive experience. We are able to record voice overs at our studio in Gaerwen, Anglesey if you would like to use your own artist, but they are without equipment. Alternatively you can just provide us with an audio track.
As part of our project development, we create the styling to reflect your brand. We make sure to adhere to brand guidelines throughout our project, to make sure that your visual identity is upheld and consistent. We send styling samples over to your first, before carrying those visuals through into animation productions or interactive project development.
Once the animation has been completed we send you all agreed assets via a shared folder, where you can download your files.
Depending on whether you have your own headsets or we are supplying your headsets, your application is loaded on and managed by us. We offer aftercare packages to help your application keep up to date and running smoothly.
Once the application is completed it is uploaded to the app store/google play store and any additional marketing assets are supplied to you via a shared folder.
You retain the rights to the final product, however we will never use your models for other projects.
As we are based in North Wales, we are experienced in creating bilingual applications and animations. We are also able to develop content in multiple languages, for international audiences. This is something we discuss with you in our initial meetings.
If you have a budget in mind that you want us to work with we can scope out the areas where our expertise will be best suited and give you other areas you could work on yourself to keep project costs down.
We keep the files for your project for 2 years after project completion, before backing them up on our archive. Simply get in touch with us and we can quote you for the changes/updates.
We build all our applications with scalability in mind, this means that even when the project is completed, if content changes or needs to be added in the future we can scale your application accordingly.
We can source and the best headsets for you and your application and include that within the project costs.
We use manage XR to keep track of headset use and updates, making sure that everything continues to run smoothly after the project is completed.
We keep you involved and up to date throughout our production/development processes, we will explain what we will provide and what we need from you, along with giving you all the information about how things will come together.
